Last Week of School Information

Dear Parents/Guardians,
I want to thank all of you for your cooperation with the new safety initiatives that we started this school year. In an effort to continue that theme for the last week of school, we are asking that you leave your backpacks at home. College Park High School will be instituting a no backpack policy for the early release days of May 28^th, 29^th, and 30^th.  

The students will be reminded the week of the 20^th-24^th, to clean out their lockers, turn in their textbooks, and take everything home on Friday, May 24^th.  Students will be allowed to carry a writing utensil, a notebook and a small purse/handbag. All other backpacks, large purses/handbags, and/or string bags will be taken to the Assistant Principal’s Office to be picked up by a parent only. Students will not be allowed to enter or leave the building with a backpack or a string bag during the last week of school.

To prepare for this week, we will notify all coaches that they will not be allowed to have any practices or tryouts during this time. The students should be focused on taking their finals only, with no other distractions for these three 1/2 days.
