Students are enrolling/registering in AP Classrooms NOW!

Payment opens on School Cash Online September 18, 2025.

Make sure you have completed BOTH AP Classroom Registration and School Cash Payment to ensure your exam is ordered!

 STEP ONE:

  • You must first enroll in the AP classroom.

  • Teachers will provide you with the join codes.

  • For students wanting to take an AP exam without being enrolled in the AP class here at CP, you must contact Mr. McKnight (rmcknight@conroeisd.net) by October 24 for a special join code to complete an "EXAM ONLY" registration.

STEP TWO:

PLEASE NOTE: PAYMENT ALONE DOES NOT ORDER YOUR EXAM.

Students MUST enroll in College Board using the join code from teacher or Mr. McKnight (rmcknight@conroeisd.net)

You MUST enroll in the AP classroom AND pay through school cash online in order for your exam(s) to be ordered.

Failing to do either will mean you cannot test in May.

*Please note that payment alone will NOT order your exam. If you pay after the deadline, you must contact Mr. McKnight so he can order your exam. Students that were registered in the AP Classroom but did NOT pay by the deadline will NOT have an exam ordered.

Fall-semester, full-year classes, and exam-only:

  • A $40 late fee will be added to your exam fee beginning November 17.

Spring-semester only courses:

  • Exam fees will be added to your school cash online account beginning January 2026.

  • You must register and pay by 3 pm February 23, 2026.

  • Late ordering runs February 24, 2026 through March 13, 2026 at 3:00 p.m.

FINAL DEADLINE FOR ALL AP EXAM PAYMENTS AND ORDERS WILL BE MARCH 13, 2026 (NO EXCEPTIONS).

  • Students must check their AP account and verify their tests have been ordered. If their account says "no" next to an exam or the class is not listed in My AP at all, that exam will not be ordered.

  • If there are any discrepancies, you must contact Mr. McKnight (rmcknight@conroeisd.net) no later than March 13, 2026. No changes will be made after March 13.

The final deadline to request refunds is March 13, 2026 at 3:00 p.m,

There are only two reasons for which you are able to request refunds for an AP exam.

1) Student has transferred schools and no longer attends CP.

2) Student has decided to no longer take the AP exam.

Accommodations

If you have accommodations at school through section 504 or special education and would like to have accommodations for any College Board exam (AP, PSAT, and SAT), you must request those accommodations through College Board.

You will not automatically receive them.

It can take up to 8 weeks for College Board to process these requests. Once in place, the accommodations are valid for 5 years.

Accommodations must be submitted to College Board for AP tests by 1/16/26.

To apply for accommodations, please email Mrs. Kasey Lucas (kllucas@conroeisd.net)

Homeschoolers

I am a home-schooled student. May I take AP exams at CP?

  • Yes, home-schooled students who reside within the attendance zone of CP may take AP exams at CP.

    • Please contact Mr. McKnight (rmcknight@conroeisd.net) for further information and registration.

    • If you are enrolled in a virtual program, you are NOT home-schooled, even though you stay home and complete your virtual courses. Please reach out to your virtual program and ask where they will provide your AP tests.

  • Students enrolled at other schools (John Cooper, Legacy Prep, Woodlands Christian, etc.) or districts are not able to take AP tests at CP.

  • If you are looking for information about taking the PSAT at CP, please contact Mrs. Nancy O'Donnell (nodonnell@conroeisd.net)

  • Homeschool registration and payment MUST occur before

3 pm October 24 to avoid the $40 late fee per exam.
