AP School Honor Roll for the 2024-25 school year!
The Woodlands College Park High School, has earned a place on the AP® School Honor Roll for the 2024-25 school year! On behalf of everyone in the AP community, congratulations to you and your colleagues.

The AP School Honor Roll recognizes schools that have done outstanding work to welcome more students into AP courses and support them on the path to college success.

Research shows that students who take AP courses and exams are more likely to attend college and graduate on time. The students who enter four-year colleges with credit from AP accelerate their path to graduation and build confidence for college success. And even for those who don’t earn college credit, AP coursework provides early exposure to college-level work and contributes to a college-going school culture.

We know it takes a significant schoolwide effort—dedication from teachers, counselors, administrators, students, and parents—to make AP access a priority. We join you in celebrating this inspiring achievement for your community. Again, congratulations! I'm inspired by your commitment and grateful for the chance to honor your success.

Sincerely,
Trevor Packer

Debate
Dominates Again!
For the fourth consecutive year, our CX Debate team has claimed the title of District Champions and they did it in historic fashion. For the third year in a row, our debaters went undefeated, not dropping a single round throughout district competition.

To top it off, we are proudly sending two CX members to the State Tournament, earning 1st and 2nd place at district. This level of consistency, excellence, and competitive grit is something truly special.

Congratulations to our debaters and coaches on another outstanding achievement.

This past weekend, five College Park High School band students earned the incredible honor of being named Texas All-State Musicians, placing them in the top 3% of all high school musicians in Texas!

Congratulations to our All-State Cavaliers:
Derek Walker (12) – Flute
Alan Rodriguez (11) – English Horn (3rd best high school English Horn player in the entire state!)
Gabriel Gonzalez (11) – Clarinet (2-year All-State member)
Aiden Fowler (12) – Tenor Sax
Tysei Noro (12) – Percussion (2-year All-State member)

These students advanced through a highly competitive audition process at the District, Region, and Area levels—outperforming tens of thousands of students statewide. Earning All-State is the highest honor a Texas music student can achieve, and we could not be more proud of their talent, dedication, and hard work.

Our All-State musicians will represent College Park at the Texas Music Educators Association All-State Ensemble from February 11–14.
Please join us in celebrating and congratulating these outstanding students.
